Privacy Policy

At JFitGo we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we need it, and how we protect it. No fine print.

1. Data Controller

JFitGo is a registered trademark owned by John Almaraz. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For any privacy-related inquiry, contact us at support@jfitgo.com.

2. What Data We Collect and Why

We collect only the data strictly necessary for the app to function: your email address and password to authenticate you; your name and surname, used exclusively to generate the PDF report at the end of a program; your username, which identifies you within the platform; and your body weight, used to estimate calories burned in each training session. We do not collect additional health data or connect the app to external platforms such as Apple Health or Google Fit.

3. Third Parties: Firebase Cloud Messaging

The only external service we use is Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) by Google, exclusively to send you training reminder push notifications. We do not use advertising services, we do not perform behavioral tracking, and we do not share your data with any third party for commercial purposes.

4. Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located within the European Union, subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We apply technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a user you have the right to: access your personal data, rectify it if incorrect, request its deletion ('right to be forgotten'), and request restriction or objection to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at support@jfitgo.com.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

When you request account deletion, your data is retained for 30 days before being permanently and irreversibly deleted. During that period, if you log in, the deletion request is suspended and your account is reactivated. After 30 days of inactivity, all your data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
